I titled my blog origami crane because I'm a fan of a show called Prison Break. The lead character in this tv series sends origami cranes with coded messages on them to his significant other. The cranes signify the fact that everything will eventually be OK (as they have people trying to kill them and are separated much of the time). I think that's what it means in some southeast Asian culture...
